Relationship status "Complicated"
. . . She has been present in every of the women I have known as
lover, at least by some measure. She is Mahamaya, the beauty and
granduer and splendor of the illusion, She makes up the matrix of
reality and provides the stage for this romance. She is Durga, a name
which literally means 'inaccessible,' at least alot of the time. She
is the Mother but I'm rather sure She's not mine. As a yogi of the
tantra school She is my partner in practice even when I am alone, the
linga of my flesh not encompassed in a woman's warm yoni. I have at
least met Her as Avatar fully manifest as one or another of the
Beloveds I've encountered in my wanderings, as one of those
exceptionally beautiful and beatific women I chanced notice and
perhaps romance somewhere along the way. She is Wife of my True Self
for all eternity, yet often as not I sleep alone. Complicated indeed.

Work In Progress: The Truth of the Matter and Mind and the Subtle Story
-->
The Truth of
the Matter and Mind and the Subtle Story
The
story more twisted than the most fantastic science fiction or fantasy
or commonly tauted conspiracy theories would tell it, more complex
and paradoxically more simple than most the religions of the world
would have it. Though certainly sanAtana
dharma most precisely presents the basic
framework of the whole show (so far as I have seen represented at
least) and tell the most significant figures and archetypes, the
subtle intricacies, or as my friend and once-upon-a-time lover Star
used to call it , the “Politics of the Gods,” indeed prove
bizarre and psychologically complex beyond any concise telling I've
yet encountered (though I've scarcely scratched the surface of writ
Vedic teachings). And indeed, the Sanskrit term lila
seems the best descriptor to describe, and also the most optimistic
and true. We are the play of the Divine Mind made manifest, and the
twists of global politics and religious conflicts and popular culture
can tell the true tale between or outside the lines, if one has an
eye to see and an ear to hear.
The basic context of the
Story is a Love Story and an exercise in philosophy and poetry and
sexuality and intrigues, and is about an ancient archetypal Family, a
bizarre drama and rather confusing comedy. Though I have a clear
enough understanding granted me by study and channeled information
and memories near and ancient of certain secrets regarding the
absurdity of the real story, I am not as yet certain I can much
convey what I have discovered, been shown and realized, beyond a
rather cursory telling compared to the intricacies of the Grand
Production I have been made privy to and in which I am seeming a
player—though the part I play is in truth not so uncommon, as all
are likewise connected to the As Above So Below, As Below So Above
symmetries that show we are indeed all the Divine at Play, that the
True mythic tales telling of the Gods and Goddesses and the interplay
of nations are about people at the ground level in ways analogous to
the supposed Great. Archetypally solid. The people of any home town
are in some way playing out the Grand Plot as if a local theater
putting on a Broadway production—and exactly which level is indeed
the determining of a given act or scene's purport or outcome is not
always easy to determine).
The most significant
Persons/Personages in regards to the Religio-Political plot of the
most recent 5-10,000 years are indeed arrayed as Three, Trimurti and
Tridevi, and contingently their Progeny and friends and foes both
supposed and otherwise. Brahman the answer and the question
provides the conflict it's context.
Brahman is the
Universal Divine, “God” as represented by the religion that is
indeed root to the world's religion generally, sanAtana dharma or
“Hinduism.” The English word “God” is derived from the
Sanskrit “go,” by the way, which translates directly as “cow,”
as in those divine creatures willingly give humans their milk and say
“Mooo.” Atman is “God” in each individual being.
Indus Valley Civilization
or Harrapan Culture as it has become known, seemed to have met a
rather abrupt end somewhere around 1900 BCE. Right about at that
time, the patriarch of a tribe and his crew left a place called Ur,
not far from the center of Indus Valley Civilization. His name
was/became Abraham. In Sanskrit as in Greek and English, “A”
before a word means “not” that. Buddhist generally taut a belief
known as Abrahman,
which can be understood as meaning that there is no Universal Divine
Person, i.e., no brahman.
Thus the contention of many Hindus that Buddhists are atheists.
Buddhism is unequivocally derived from Hinduism, as Guatanama Buddha
was a Hindu prince. I would therefore contend that both the
Abrahamic religions and Buddhism can be understood as thus positing
the question and theories regarding the Divine as understood by their
forebearers, “If not God as we once believed, then what?” Both
are in denial of what their forebearers believed the Divine and the
Nature of existence to be.
Abraham's
crew, traveling to the west and through varied religious contexts,
still practiced making murtis
till 700 years later when Moses said that was bad, and Hebrews to
this day believe in reincarnation, which they call gilgul,
which translates as “going in a circle”--like the Sanskrit
samsara. Brahma's
wife is Saraswati. Abraham's wife, according to the Hebrew
tradition, was Sara. Hagar was handmaid to Sara according to the
Hebrew tradition, though the Muslims claim Hagar was the primary wife
of Abraham. The Ghaggar River is tributary/connects to the Saraswati
River.
The Hebrew myth
purporting to tell of the origins of circumcision is almost certainly
an alteration of one of the myth which tells why Brahma, the Creator
(Himself a created being), is not much worshiped in India. This myth
tells of Brahma lusting after a beautiful woman He created early in
the process of creation and growing a “fifth head” to continue to
lust after her as she sought to evade His gaze, and of Siva (God the
Destroyer Who was indeed not created) cutting off Brahma's fifth head
using His pinky fingernail (instead of the trishul
Mahadeva would normally use to sever heads), as directly creating
another more than implies parentage of said other. Thus if indeed
connected as seems well enough evidenced, the Hebrew rite of
circumcision is derived from/is in fact an incest taboo rite.
Certainly clues into what really
animates the big story, one connected for millennia across continents
and the Oceans blue, and mostly all relating to the archetypally well
formed constructs of sanAtana dharma,
“keepin' it together forever.”
The three Abrahamic
religions mirrors or unconsciously half-hearken to or shows direct
response to the Hindu Trimurti of Creator, Maintainer and
Destroyer/Brahma, Vishnu and Siva in that order, and beyond anything
mere dispersion theory could account for. The Hebrews constructs
thus connecting to Brahma the Creator, Christians' to Krishna/Vishnu
the Maintainer, and Muslims' to Siva-Kali/Uma the Destroyer and
Destroyerette.
The above telling of the
Hebrew connection to Brahma, likewise Christianity rather obviously
reflects or re-presents the myths and archetypal constructs of
Krishna and Vishnaivism generally. Krishna a Cowherd, Christ a
Shepherd; Gopis the Milkmaid Lovers of Krishna, Christians the Bride
of Christ. Jesus's proper name, Jeshua, is pronounced rather like
Ishvara, a name attributed to Vishnu and Siva both, and which
means “Lord.” Both died as result of a piercing wound. Both
ascended from death and into the heavens in whatever guise. Both are
supposed to return riding horses of light palour, etc.
Islam similarly somehow
mirrors or recalls or responds to Siva and Shakti. The primary
confession of Islam is known as one of the “Kalimas,” seemingly a
subtle recognition of Kali Ma, “Black Mama” Goddess of the
Universe and perhaps the most popular Avatar of Siva's Consort Shakti
if not most popular Goddess in the world. One of Islam's primary
tenets is Ummah and
Shakti is also known as Uma, the Universal Divine/Brahman Incarnate
as a Woman. Put a “v” in the middle of Shi'ite and you get
“Shivite.” Supposedly the Kaaba Stone in Mecca yet holds a Siva
Linga stone, the only murti
not removed when Mohammed removed the “idols.” Many Muslims are
looking for the coming of the “Mahdi,” which sounds rather like
“Mahadeva”—“Great God” in Sanskrit and one of Siva's Names.
Thus
despite their attempts to differentiate themselves from each other
and from their religious and philosophical roots, the Abrahamic
religions seemingly cannot help but follow the patterns expounded by
sanAtana dharma.
Else they are at least are in some guise responding to the Hindu
Trimurti and Tridevi and the preexistent concept of brahman.
The Buddhist response to
the (more acknowledgedly) root religion and their denial of sanAtana
dharma's central
tenet, brahman, is
clearly related to a critique of suffering and the age old question
“If God is Good and All Powerful, why is there suffering?” as the
Buddhist answer is thus, “there is no God. It's all just illusion,
even Him/Her.”
Certainly
there are twists and subtleties to these relations if deconstructed
and told further, so very many intrigues and hidden plots lay behind
the headlines and history writ which tell of the most twisted
theatrics and neurotic and seeming psychotic and beyond soap opera
bizarre reasons for the flow of world affairs, culture, religion and
social convention, word play and the facades of society and civic
myth. The most significant singular origin of the narrative which
tells true the flow of world affairs for the most recent 5-10,000+
years is clearly that told most succinctly and best contextualized by
sanAtana dharma,
the myths and religious constructs of India's/the world's most
ancient known religion.
Though
seeming distant from “Western” Culture, ancient subtle spells,
indeed mantras
are writ into colloquial English and common American phrases.
“Hooray!! Hoorah!!” a scarcely veiled invocation of Hari-Hara,
Vishnu and Siva, the Maintainer and Destroyer sharing one Body.
“Amen” is just missing the “U” of “AUM” (pronounced
properly A-U-Mñ).
The missing “U”
is thus found half hidden in at least the referent “you” of so
many popular songs and certain other uses of the personal pronoun, a
subtle spell assuring the people remember to include some recognition
of God the Destroyer, some devotion for the Divine with Dreads, Grand
Purveyor of the Party. This aesthetic applied to interpreting and
listening to music can certainly offer an alternative take on
groovin' to the tunes.
Seeing
so many scenes as I've been shown tell supposed monologues of
particular players in the Grand Production, oft as not in voices feel
and sound (if that sense can be said to apply to non-audible cognized
voices, the which I have, by the way, heard as direct premonition
another's voice speaking words only moments later spoken by the
selfsame physically embodied person, as if I'd heard said person
thinking a phrase before saying it. Not the same as these not
audible inner channeled voices oft internally “heard/seen”
proffering some interesting or despicable tidbit, the which often
prove of in fact Grand significance to the truth of the history of
this world and the politics and devotions and Deities, the “what
really happened . . .” of the supposed pivotal events in history)
to be real people, some of whom I've known, telling so many inside
stories, conveying connections of historical figures and pop culture
personages, Devas and Devis posing as everyday persons else sometimes
celebrities and betraying clues to the twisted transmigrational
milieu of who is who, as well as average people likewise playing out
the archetypal cycles as if merely living “their own” individual
dramas. So many players are mostly unconsciously presenting an
alternate history to the official, microcosmically as well as in the
bigtime, indeed as if we all really already intrinsically know the
true patterns weave the Story together just so.
