Below is a link to an article that tells of the difficulties those searching for the wreckage of the lost Air France jet are having finding the plane's wreckage for all the human waste (mostly plastic) that litters the ocean in the area. Keep in mind, the plane went down well over 400 miles from the coast of South America.
